Welcome to the registration for the Howard County Fair BBQ SHOWDOWN. The BBQ Showdown has grown over the past couple of years and it is always a great time for those that enter. Before you register, here are a few quick details about the competition.

ALL MEATS WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE HOWARD COUNTY FAIR. For more information on meats contact Brent at 432-466-1515

MEATS: CHICKEN / RIBS / BRISKET

CHICKEN - Whole chicken / RIBS - regular pork / BRISKET - you trim as desired.

SIDES: Side of your choice / must be pit cooked. (Optional)

DESSERT: Dessert of your choice / must be pit cooked. (Optional)

PIT SET UP: Friday September 18 - 5:00PM - 7:00PM

PICK UP MEAT: Friday September 18 - 7:20PM / BBQ Cooking Area

TURN IN TO JUDGES: Saturday September 19 Chicken - 12PM / Ribs - 12:30PM / Sides (optional) - 1:00PM / Brisket - 1:30PM / Dessert (optional) - 2PM

AWARDS: 1ST, 2ND, 3RD in each meat category. / One overall champion. / 1st in side. / 1st in dessert.

NO ELECTRICITY WILL BE PRIVIDED. GENERATORS ARE PERMITTED.
