Welcome to the Howard County Fair Queen registration form. We are excited that you chose to take part in this contest and look forward to a fun evening. Here are a few details before you register.

  • The Fair Queen Competition will be held on Thursday - September 17 at 6PM. Contestants should be there by 5:00PM.

  • The event is happening in the new Steer Barn ( located behind the Fair Barn ).

  • Contestants must be the ages of 16-20.

  • The normal fair festivities (vendors, shopping, food, etc.) will NOT be going on during this time. The fair gates open Friday at 5PM. The carnival WILL BE open on Thursday at 5PM.

  • Judging will be based in the following:

    • Casual Wear

    • Formal Wear

    • Introduction Questions

    • Random Questions

    • Based on personality, overall appearance, poise, confidence, stage presence, etc.
