Welcome to the registration for the Howard County Fair Karaoke Contest. The karaoke contest has become a huge tradition with the fair and always a great time for the whole family. Before you register, here are a few quick details about the competition.

• There is only one hour for the show, so space is very limited.

• Though we take the competition very serious, this in not an event put on or judged completely by professionals.

  Judges may be board members, city officials, radio stations, music artists, music industry representatives, etc.

• This is a family show and their will be zero tolerance for any distasteful language, music, gestures, or the such.

• Judging will be based on VOCALS, STYLE, STAGE PERFORMACE, OVERALL SHOWMANSHIP, PERSONALITY, CROWD REACTION/PARTICIPATION

• Each contestant will sing one song (unless a second song is requested).

• Please invite your family and friends to help your crowd voting.

• We use soundchoice as a first choice of karaoke tracks when available.

• Professional sound and lighting will be supplied.

• Performances will be on the Pavilion Main Stage (located behind the Fair Barn).

• There is a $10 entry fee to participate. This can be paid on the day of show.

• The competition starts at 6PM. You must be there by 5:30PM.
