Whether you're baking a pie, showing off your photography, or crafting something creative, we’re excited to have you participate! Please review all contest rules carefully to ensure a fair and fun experience for everyone. Each category has its own guidelines, deadlines, and entry requirements — so be sure to read through before submitting your entries.








LEGOS
RULES
Size Restrictions:
• Maximum dimensions for all entries: 16” x 16” x 16”
• No exceptions. Entries exceeding size limits will not be accepted
Age Group Categories:
• Elementary School (Grades K–5)
• Junior High (Grades 6–8)
• High School (Grades 9–12)
• Adult (Ages 18+)
Participants may choose to:
1. Create an Original Work – Build a unique Lego creation from
your own imagination.
2. Assemble a Pre-Determined Model – Choose from a list of
approved Lego sets and recreate one faithfully.
Rules & Requirements:
• Only 2 entries per participant.
• Projects must be complete and meet all dimensional requirements
PHOTOGRAPHY
RULES
1. A limit of 2 photograph per class.
2. Photographs can be any subject or style as long as they are in the
original work of the exhibitor. Photographs with the theme “FALL IS
IN THE AIR” will be eligible for an additional award.
3. Photographs must not have received an award in a showing at this
fair. They must have been completed within the last 7 years.
4. Work must be original.
5. Judging will be done by a qualified judge. His/her decision will be
final. The judge has the authority to combine classes or mediums, if
necessary, under any circumstances.
6. Photographs muse not exceed 40” overall height or width and must be
at least 8” x 10”. All work must be framed or stretch canvas and
wired for hanging with a sturdy frame/stretcher bars and hooks. We
cannot accept art that we are unable to display by hanging.
7. Any entry unacceptable to the Rules Committee will not be displayed.
AWARDS: Best of Show ,People’s Choice, 1st , 2nd and 3rd

Photography must be picked up Sunday 4:30pm- 5:30pm
CANNED GOODS
RULES
All canned goods will not be judged unless regulation jars are used.
All jars must be sealed with rings left on.
Lids and rings that are rusted will detract from your product and
make your score lower.
No paraffin will be accepted
No mayonnaise, coffee, or old jars will be judged.
All jars must be labeled as to contents and dated.
All canned foods must have been prepared within a one-year period
prior to judging date. No names, showing please.
Classes:
1. Canned Fruits
2. Canned Vegetables
3. Pickled Okra
4. Pickles
5. Relish
6. Chow Clow
7. Jams, Jellies and Preserves
8. Juice/Syrup
9. Peppers
10. Salsa/Hot Sauce
11. Miscellaneous
One Grand Champion and one Reserve Champion ribbon will be
awarded in each class.
All other entries will receive 1 st , 2 nd , 3 rd or a participant’s ribbon.
There is no limit on number of canned foods that you can enter
but multiple same products are not allowed.
Johansen Land Scape and Nursery is sponsoring a $100 gift cert
for canned goods garden/farm to table. Just let us know if you
grew the ingredients in your canned goods entry to be eligible.
